At the March 31, 2026 City Council meeting, Susan Wolfson called out Dan Brotman for his misogynistic and inflammatory comments at the “No Kings” rally in Glendale (linked below). Brotman was unable to resist shooting back at Wolfson, using a lie of omission in his cheap attempt to humiliate her publicly.
Brotman bragged that he rejected an endorsement request from Wolfson the day before the rally.
Susan Wolfson, a candidate for Glendale City Clerk, didn’t let the record remain uncorrected. She returned to City Council on April 14, 2026 to calmly expose Brotman’s effort to mislead the public, and clarified that she asked ALL City Council members for their endorsements. Off camera, Susan shared that this was an effort to demonstrate non-partisanship and fairness.

Brotman’s tendency to walk out on speakers was on display that night. He left the room before Susan Wolfson came to the podium to address him. Yet she persisted, speaking to his empty chair and the rest of City Council.
Councilmember Brotman may prefer to remain unseen and have ‘deaf ears’ for public speakers. But the public can see and hear clearly when their elected public servants are failing them.
