Political candidates who engage in censorship may become a government that engages in censorship. The Nextdoor platform is plagued with censorship attempts every election season. Mostly it is done by candidate supporters acting independently or on behalf of a candidate. But occasionally, the candidate themselves will try to silence critics.
We’ve caught Alek Bartrosouf receiving insider information (email lists) from the Glendale City Clerk’s office. Today we caught him engaging in attempting to censor the same people he want to be his constituents.

And, Bartrosouf will even lie to do it. The violation he reported is FALSE. The topic was a local issue regarding our city and a candidate for our City Council. See the image below. We have removed the name of our tipster, and the name of Bartrosouf’s intended victim.

Alek Bartrosouf is tied to a group of local vandals called the “Glendale Extremist Network” who work on behalf of him and Councilmember, Dan Brotman, to smear other candidates. Bartrosouf was trained and installed into Glendale government commissions by Dan Brotman.
