2021 NATIONAL NIGHT OUT EVENT
The Annual Glendale Police Department’s 2021 National Night Out will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. National Night Out is usually held on the first Tuesday in August.
National Night Out is a community-driven event where neighbors get to know each other and share concerns, strategies, and ideas for safer communities. The Glendale Police Department, the Glendale Fire Department, members of the Glendale City Council and City Officials will visit these events to hear concerns, ideas, and explore how they might work together to improve the safety of their neighborhoods.
National Night Out is designed not only to create police and community partnership but also to:
- Heighten Crime and drug prevention awareness
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit
- Send a message to criminals, letting them know neighborhoods are organized and watching out
